What would Rinaldo d’Angarano and Vieri da Vallonara say if they knew that people are still talking about them 500 years after their challenge ? The famous Chess square in Marostica gets crowded to host the game played back in 1454 by the 2 noblemen and loads of people from Italy and abroad make it to Marostica to attend this show.
Last september 12th 2014, we welcomed two lovely families from the province of Ferrara who decided to make a stop
in Schiavon to find out more about distilling Grappa and other spirits before moving on tot he chess square in Marostica.
