Regardless of the weather, it's always time to sip some Grappa Poli.
Agco/Laverda introduced some of their best customers from Upper Austria to us last friday 31st of january 2014.
In spite of the fact that it was raining cats and dogs, our austrian visitors were in an extremely good mood and ready and eager to find out more how artisanal Grappa is still created in the 116-year old, family-run distillery in Schiavon.
Alberto cared for an exhaustive introduction to the history of the family, and later took the new Grappa friends thrugh our premises, explaining them about "heads" and "tails" and "heart".
Eventually, they all gathered in the cellar, in the tasting room, to find which Grappa would be the most suitable to their taste.
