The Gambasin Family in Schiavon
“Sparkling” guests bewitched by the Arzente
The Gambasin family from Vicenza (two sisters, their boyfriends, mother and father) was here last July 4th 2014 to better figure out what’s hidden behind the thick walls of our ancient distillery in Schiavon.
Alberto was in charge to welcome them, and to explain how the building used to host an “osteria” at the end of the 19th century.
He later presented the many spirits distilled with the same care by the Poli family since 1898.
At last, a tasting held in the ageing cellar (Arzente and our liquorice-flavoured Grappa were the favourite ones) and a nice picture by the still were the icing on the cake for the Gambasin family.
