Historic companies and innovation - Event at the Poli Distillery
On Friday October 9th at 11am, a special event gathering Italy’s oldest companies along with managers, economy experts and professors will be held at the Poli Distillery.
What does innovation mean to hundred-year old companies? What’s the meaning of innovation when considering companies’ long lasting traditions? Which ethical principles shall be taken into consideration to inspire innovation for an historic brand? What are the differencies between emerging and historical companies when it comes to innovation?
We do hope the answers to these questions will be revealed during “Storie e dialoghi sull’innovazione d’impresa”:
this event will take place at the Poli Distillery and will be patronised by the Unione Imprese Storiche Italiane (Italian historic companies association) on Friday October 9th 2015 at 11 am.
Researchers from the Economics Department at Verona are going to present the results of a project meant to explain what innovation is.
Owners of some of the most historic companies as well as journalists will also take part to the event: Jacopo Poli will comment on his very own experience. Prof. Claudio Baccarani from Verona university will moderate the whole event.
A guided tour to the Grappa Museum and distillery is planned in the afternoon.
