On Monday, April 18, 2019, in the sumptuous frame of the Officina Profumo Farmaceutica of Santa Maria Novella, there was the award ceremony for the new Order of Merit 2019, an honor created by Danilo Bellucci to pay tribute to the bartenders who distinguished themselves, in Italy and abroad, for professionalism, elegance, class and style.
Thirteen rewards for the talented professionals coming from eight countries and two continents; it was our honor to award Walter Bolzonella, bar manager at Hotel Cipriani in Venice.
Bolzonella, author of George Clooney's official wedding cocktail, has been seducing international VIPs with his mixing art for over 20 years.
Among the winners Giorgio Fadda, former historical barman leader at Europa and Regina of Venice (today world vice president of IBA), but also young hopes like Leonardo Zanini, bar manager at Le Bar Vendome of Ritz in Paris.
